New NOCCOG Chairman Takes Office

Robert Sauer, a seasoned veteran of municipal workings and the greater Tug Hill region, became Chairman January 1.

At its Annual Meeting in October, the 19 NOCCOG member municipalities unanimously selected Bob Sauer of Camden as the Council's new Chairman.

Bob brings a wealth of experience with both local goverment and the Tug Hill region. He currently serves (and has for many years) as a member of the Town of Camden Planning and Zoning Boards. He has also served as mayor of the Village of Camden for two separate stretches, and as a village trustee in the interim. Bob has also maintained long-term board membership in the Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust and in THRIFT (Tug Hill Resources Investment In Tomorrow). He has also served in several short-term advisory committees with the Tug Hill Commission.

The chairmanship is for a one year term.
